Duties of the Treasurer

1. Handle all the financial aspects of NCPA.

2. Need to get the checking account and signature card in your name at CFCU (this is done with the president as it is your names that are required for the checks to clear).

3. In the fall, accept checks for dues from each member, deposit them and submit one check from NCPA to the secretary to mail in with the names, addresses, etc.

4. Keep checkbook balanced as often as possible.

5. Accept receipts for reimbursement and distribute NCPA money to those who turned in receipts.

6. Reimbursement for conventions – National - $75, Midyear - $37.50, PCCA - $50 (PCCA done over the summer is to be reimbursed by the new exec in the fall.  The president has the proper forms.

7. For a fundraising event:  need to get cash beforehand (plenty in order to make change for the event).

8. Obtain lunch and soda for each general meeting.

9. Immunization Program – treasurer is in charge of obtaining food and drinks for the program (along with the rest of the executive council).
